An exciting opportunity has arisen at Hazelbury for an outstanding Nursery Assistant. In this role you will be working with a team to provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment for our Early Years and Reception children. You will work with groups or individual children to aid them in their learning, showing a good understanding of children’s needs. The ideal candidates must be flexible (as every day is different) adaptable and hard working. You will need to be a well organised person who can work independently and as part of a team and have the skills to build positive relationships with children and colleagues.

We understand how important it is for staff and children to have access to modern technology, which is why all children are provided with Chromebooks and all members of staff are provided with iPads. Children are engaged with a creative curriculum that makes use of our performing arts studio, music zone and creative hub. Our own on-site sports coaches provide our children with quality sport provision and fantastic extra-curricular opportunities. With a farm, pond and orchard on site, we are able to provide the children with creative outdoor experiences. We also have our very own minibuses, which all staff has the opportunity to be trained to drive.

Children are encouraged to have a growth mind-set and we have a focus on mindfulness for both children and staff across the school.
